When the beautiful world finds its meaning in a wedding film, which we shot with great pleasure. On the island of Spetses in Greece, a small but beautiful event took place. Even though we were filming weddings non-stop at the time of the shoot, this one was motivation above all else... worth every single effort from the first second to the last.....Weddings like this are what keep our energy for storytelling capturing higher than ever.
Unique Wedding a Samedayedit
A samedayedit that no one knew about, not even us, because it was never planned... we were just backing up our cards after the ceremony, and while reviewing the shots, we came up with the idea of creating it, because this wedding was unique and beautiful at the same time... the projector supervisor was not there so we can present it to the couple and all the guests, but it was no one's fault that we came up with this surprise... at least we can share it here 🙂 thanks for watching

I would love to find words to describe this wedding, but I know that nothing can describe what this wedding means to us. An amazing church and venue and an adventure like no other to film and make it happen that we will always remember as one of our greatest stories in front of and behind the camera. The trailer we are showing here is a little different from our normal work. It's a real storytelling video that shows only a minimum of the event, but gets the maximum out of it...thank you for watching it

it's been ages since the last time, the truth is that it was the first moment of our entire Oscar journey when I said to myself that we might not be able to keep it up this time. The long hiatus since the last S.D.E. and the extremely short time we had to process after the ceremony faced us like an undefeated Drago(n). Imagine we started editing at 9:07pm and it was supposed to be done before 10pm. We finished it at 9:42pm. The couple made their entrance and we put that in right away and then the first dance right away. The eye of the tiger, the heart of Rocky, and the soul of VICTORY DID it AGAIN. this samedayedit was certainly one of the greatest challenges of all. until 20 minutes before delivery, the samedayedit was edited with a different soundtrack and was 99% nothing compared to the final cut. It was a moment when we thought about not finishing it at all because it was a disappointment. Suddenly, an outside, victorious force of faith and confidence gave us the spark, motivation and will to quickly revise it and make it into what was later successfully released Many thanks to my wife Antoniafor the motivational support. samedayedits are always a challenge because the day itself is an ongoing live event with many unexpected things coming our way, but that adrenaline always acts like a magic potion on the way to delivery. it's true that a simple edit can be done just for the sake of presentation, but our goal is always to love the result before we send it to the projector

Higher love for what you do is the highest energy and the greatest drive. No matter how difficult the creation of a samedayedit, the challenge always awakens our unstoppable will to bring the best out of what could have been a failed video due to some technical problems, to a result that can be called a real winner in the very last millisecond of the deadline just before its presentation. The first samedayedit of the year landed here and this flight went from absolute terror to the most amazing resurrection... What happened to the kings of the challenge? We left the church to get to the venue (4seasons) only to realize that we had left our camera bag with the most precious equipment outside the church (AgiaNapa).... We felt the cold adrenaline of absolute shock as the deadline for completing the samedayedit ran against us. Fortunately, the bag was found and our hair turned black again, our feet reappeared and the course of our lives turned into a very successful samedayedit without any damage and with a very creative approach

This is the first trailer I have edited with my young daughter by my side and I am very proud of our winning result.

Have you ever introduced yourself in a movie? I am sure you have, we have too, and we got our wish. Honestly, filming a wedding in such a great location was like a dream. When we got the call, I had to read our email 3-4 times to make sure it was not spam. As things progressed and we made our way there, every piece of our journey had a touch of magic. Every part of our adventure has a story to tell, but the most impressive and awesome thing about this wedding was not the venue, but the amazing couple, Lara and Bob, and their amazing personalities and hospitality. Their response to our samedayedit was one of the greatest rewards in our entire careers. We are so glad we captured this wedding, and even happier to have recorded this reaction live behind the scenes. Thrilled

I knew this was going to be something special. Five Oscar men at a wedding is something you do not see every day. This is like all the stones in the infinity gauntlet to get an idea of what I am saying, or all the Dragonballs put together. Definitely one of the most anticipated weddings of the year and definitely the event that lived up to expectations. Fueled from start to finish by the strength of my Oscar team, this was the final SameDayEdit for the current season, and of course the added Rocking motivation was there... the heart of victory beating in every single frame, every single minute. A wedding in a mythical place in Tuscany? I repeat, a wedding in Tuscany? We were so excited when we received this request that we kept wondering if it was really true, which it was. Despite all odds, as this wedding was the most difficult task for us as we encountered way too many problems on the way to our destination, it was a complete success with the most amazing stories behind the scenes. A great experience with an amazing outcome. The samedayedit exceeded our highest expectations.

Whatever I try to say about this wedding will always be too weak to describe how we will feel about it. We already knew the family from a wedding we attended a year earlier, and coming back for Friederike and Ben's wedding was like a sacred mission. We arrived at the venue and were full of energy to achieve the best possible result. It was 3 days of magic without interruption. The wedding day Samedayedit was the highlight of course, but the moments we experienced we will remember forever. We will always be grateful for this trip.

Filming a wedding on July 6 is always extra motivation. It's Sly Stallone's birthday and we always feel the eye of the tiger. We knew the island of Rodhes, but we had never heard of Lindos. But once we were there, we fell in love with the place and we look forward to visiting again in the future. The request literally came in the middle of the night via phone call, and I hesitated to answer it because under the circumstances, it could have been spam. It was not, of course, and we could not escape the call of duty. A traditional Greek wedding in one of the most beautiful places in Greece. Lindos. The journey to this wedding was a journey in itself, the long journey from Cyprus to Sylt, which we did not know, was the experience. The wedding was beautiful, but the funny thing for us was that the people there had never heard of us and did not know what a samedayedit was. One thing I remember is that we tried to film the famous lighthouse on the island right before the wedding day started. This was illegal and we did not realise it until a police officer came, but luckily for us, he told us to leave and did not call for backup or take us to the police station to deal with the situation. We returned to the wedding and we made it. The samedayedited trailer was so successful at the presentation that all the guests were talking about us and cheering us on like modern day champions. It was a great story.

A magical Wedding in 2 Continents ( Portofino Italy, Toronto Canada)
When I say that I have waited all my life for this wedding.......is a LIE! I did not expect this at all, to be honest! I have always wanted to do projects abroad! A few years ago a foreign project for me would have been anything outside my village, maybe the next city or the city next to the next city, but in 2015 OMG! filmed in 2 countries (actually continents) ceremony at Splendido Hotel in beautiful Portofino/Italy and party at amazing Casa Loma in Toronto/Canada, The Ultimate Journey! Our very first call to a destination. The wedding call that started our journey to a destination, the amazing chapter with the most incredible behind the scenes stories. the samedayedit that created excitement during the presentation. what can I say, it was a dream to film weddings outside of Cyprus and the first call was the great beginning. I was so excited about this wedding at the time that when I had to book the flights, I booked completely wrong dates only to realise 10 minutes before departure that I was wrong. What could have been a disaster turned out to be the best success at the time. When we arrived, there was only one flight left at the airport, and we had no choice but to wait for it. We literally did not sleep and reached the wedding literally at the last moment. We went through the toughest struggle, but in the end and after the extremely successful samedayedit was worth every humangus effort. I remember how tired I was on the way back to the hotel and that until the next day I could not believe that it was real.

It is well known how much we love this church, that we get an extra motivation as soon as we enter it. Bocceli music is not something we personally like, but this was the request and we could not say no. It was another challenge and once again the mix with our footage was successful against all expectations :)A great wedding PS : Rocky's nickname is "The Italian Stallion," which is due to his Italian-American heritage. When I first met Foula and Constantinos to talk to them about filming their wedding, I immediately sensed that these two were special and that their day would be something extraordinary - and it was! A few years later we all met again for the sequel, the baptism of their beautiful baby boy Orestis, and the magic was not only back, but everything became even more enchanted and emotional. ps: Sometime later, the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), UK, asked us for footage of this baptism so they could show a real baptism in a documentary series they were filming.

I love choosing music for our samedayedited trailers, but for this one I searched for 4 hours and found nothing. Then we drove to the wedding, filmed all the way to the couple's entrance and realized we were still searching non-stop. Literally 1 hour before the presentation, the Golden Buzzer track was found and the mission was not aborted and we did not give up. Despite the huge challenge, the magic of creation came rolling in and a successful samedayedit was presented on time. A beautiful wedding with beautiful people mixed into our favorite church of all time and one of our favorite venues can be found here. Thank you for watching 🙂
2022 is the year of the greatest challenge in our careers. Every weekend something happens that raises the bar even higher. The backstory of this sameday edit could have been the most stressful experience for a videographer, but it was not for us and it came out fabulous.
